    Free, national telephone advice line and website, staffed by trained advisers from the housing and homelessness charity.

  • Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service (HLPAS)

    The Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service (HLPAS) provides early legal advice and on the day representation in court for individuals facing the loss of their home as a result of a problem related to debt or welfare benefits. HLPAS replaces the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme, a service which would previously only provide on the day representation in court.

  • Housing Ombudsman

    Free, impartial service to look at complaints about registered housing organisations.

    Get help to resolve disputes involving tenants and leaseholders of social landlords (housing associations and local authorities) and voluntary members (private landlords and letting agents who are committed to good service for their tenants).

    Free helpline and advice for disabled people, their families, carers and advocates.

    The Disability Law Service (DLS) is run by and for disabled people as an independent, national registered charity.

    Contact DLS for advice on discrimination, employment, welfare and housing issues such as homelessness, possession, unlawful eviction, ASBOs and landlord harassment.
